James Bowie HS World Guard 2020 Presents

Inspired by the kinetic mobiles of alexander calder and George rickey - the subtle balance and arrangement of elements on the stage are all influence by the smallest and softest of breaths of air. utilizing modern and minimalist music by sufjan stevens, ymusic, the staves, steve reich, and laurie anderson, the bowie world guard explores the fine line between balance and chaos. The show will embrace the unexpected change of winds and never present the same performance twice - as the chaos can never be duplicated.
The guard is under the coordination of Jen Barton, with creative direction from Rick Subel. Staff includes Atticus Griffin, mark istratie, Kimberly Libby, and Geoffrey Sperling. Soundtrack development by Ben Potts. Digital visual production by Sara Solomonson, travis chiles, joe heininger and aaron martin.Costuming by Joe Heininger and A Wish Come True.
James Bowie HS World will compete in the 2021 virtual WGI season in the scholastic world class.
